Im back!

           I was just having a normal day, taking care of baby and then I got a text message.. I stopped, froze alittle, tas parang binuhusan ako ng tubig na malamig. This is it! I got a text message from my handler Ate Nhila from Star Magic, I finally had a tv guesting again! I kinda panicked a little, so many things went through my mind, was I ready? who was it gonna be with? could I do the role properly? Kayanin ko kaya un puyat? I was very confused, di ko alam if tatanggapin ko ba or pass muna kasi i wasn't ready to leave kiera, plus a MMK guesting is a huge deal! Lalo na for me i really dont consider myself a drama actress. After a few minutes i texted back if what role it was and when.

         I was told what role, took a deep breath and replied "cge ati" ommmgg! I couldnt sleep the night before, I was soo nervous! Last time I did a taping or guesting was almost more than a year ago, sa Ipaglaban mo with Matt Evans, its been a while and im rusty, its like Im starting all over again. I was happy to find out that Matt accepted to do the MMK with me medyo nawala un kaba ko kasi I'm comfortable acting with Matt, we've been citing together for almost 3 years straight and now balk tambalan nanaman. Im so lucky to have a supportive team behind me and Charles there to support me while Kiera stayed home because shes too small to go out pa.

         The 1st day nerves got to me, as i deliver my lines I was shaking, kept ready my script over and over again, plus I was wearing a fat suit which took 2 1/2 hours to put on and it was super hot outside I was sweating everywhere! Before each take, or even when I was in the stand by area i would move because even the small movement I made caused me to sweat but as the day went by, everything was going well. I was getting back into the groove of taping and being on set, then I started feeling a burning sensation around dinner time sa neck ko. So the staff decided to remove muna my prosthetics sa face and neck soo that I could rest a little before resuming.

          To our surprise I had an allergic reaction to the sweat and I guess the chemicals from the prosthetics caused by the heat. I was rushed to the ER and stayed there for 5 hours, I fell asleep because of the dose of medicine they gave, but felt better after. Ayun nga lang I felt soo bad na packup kami. We only shot 5 scenes, out of 34 sequences, I thought  I was gonna be replaced and lost a great chance to start my acting again.

I was expecting to get a call a few days later to tell me it was gonna be cancelled for health reasons but then I got good news, that the taping would resume the week after as soon as my neck was better! Then that Tuesday we resumed and the rest is history!! I really hope you enjoy my episode and I hope that I did the best i could, its a great way to start and im looking forward to my next guestings.
