New Year, Cheers!

Hi guys,
Happy New Year!!! I first would like to thanks all those who actually take time to read my blog and follow my twitter and instagram pages. Your support means the world to me especially this year, alot of things have changed and that includes the way I look at life. I always say my life changed drastically, I guess i made it look easy but it indeed was a struggle specially getting through this year, there were alot of ups and down and more trials. I try to lighten this up all the time and surpass what I really feel and it world, I got through it all that way. Having Kiera made me appreciate alot of this like, the worth of money, I never used to even look at price tags I'd just buy it an never end up using it, but now every peso mean something, every peso I'd rather spend on my daughter. Another thing I realized is that you have to take everything a day at a time, only you know whats right for you and thats what you should do, if u fall, you learned something. The best life lesson I ever learned was that each and everything that ever happened to you has a reason and that reason is why we are still here today, we learn and that lesson makes us stronger, for the past 5 years each and every year gave me a realization on life. I met so many kinds of people who became boyfriends, friends, enemies, and people who actually became family to me. Some really bad situations that I never talked about,  things I had to go through, and maybe some people will never know, but thats my choice to keep some things to myself. Its made me who I am. Alot of the time things that happened across the 5 years really broke my heart, like into pieces at inapakan pa, hahahahaha some people betray you, some people envy you, some people just dont want to see your success or see you happy, but all those situations where i thought was the end of the world actually made ma such a better person and that is exactly how I got through my postpartum and 2015. Without all the trails Ive experienced I be really in pieces. We need to pick up those pieces and start over, and this 2016 I made a choice, 2016 is about ME, IM going to start taking care of myself, i let go this year and went on a eating marathon and I am now unhappy with my appearance, appearance being that i cant wear what i want to anymore with out people having to say something, yes I was skinny before, but sometimes people have to see theres a deeper meaning to everything. #BeKind I always say, now its time to be kind to myself. So now saying goodbye to 2015, Im claiming it and you should to, 2016, My year, love yourself, never give up...

This Christmas..

This Christmas was different, I dont know if its because I'm getting older or just because this is my 1st Christmas that none of my family members are here. I guess its a grown up thing when Christmas isnt about gift anymore, for me it has a whole new meaning, I guess its because now I have Kiera.

I remember when i was small I would start our Christmas celebration with a song number, I would do a whole set of songs like Twinkle Twinkle, A whole new world, B.I.N.G.O, I'll be there, and other song infront of friends and family, i would be the center of attraction the star of the show ahhaa no wonder naging artista ako, but I'm really shy, akala nga nila magiging singer ako, I sang nonstop as a kid. Anyway, when we would wake up on Christmas, the cookies, carrots and milk would be bawas na, sabi ng Dad ko Santa and his reindeers ate it, that he left a small snack for him dahil pagod daw si santa kakahatid ng gift to little good boys and girls, then we would first check our stockings that were hung over the fireplace and see what small goodies we got. After that we would have trash bags full of gifts that came from Mom,Dad anf of course santa, what a nice feeling that we believed in Santa before noh? That if we were really good all year we would get what we wanted. Sana pag matanda tayo ganun din noh? But its all different now, now I hope I can provide the same excitement for my little girl.

Most the time I would get gifts from my Mom and Dad, this year I got nothing hahahaha Dati I would feel bad, na no one remembered me, or they would say "sayo na lahat kaya di na kita bigayan" minsan its the thought that matters kasi diba? But now i realize its not about gifts its about the celebration od something bigger.

My Mom, Dad and brother are all in the Unites States so most the gifts are for Kiera this year.. and thats fine. Ganun pala un noh, when u have a child, when someone gives a gift to your child you are overjoyed as well. As in im soo happt when someone gets something for my little one, so thoughtful and nice of them. I was soo excited for her to open her gifts, especially when she loves ripping the gift wrappers hahaha you can see her excitement and she knows its for her, what a wonderful feeling that she's happy, ako halos maiyak ako sa reactions niya. Super mommy vibes na ba ako? haha But you knoe what, wala man ako na receive this year, I think my best gift I received, not only for Christmas, but for the whole year and years to come is my #LittleMam Kiera. Walang makakapantay sa regalong yun, a little bundle of love for life.

An awesome treat! Silantro!

I recently moved to the Kapitolyo area which is famous for their small, but amazing line of restaurants. I've heard alot about the restaurants there but this restaurant caught my eye. They are called Silantro.

My boyfriend Charles is a Chef, so He would know where the good places to eat are, that day we decided to go to Charlies, which he and his brother are a part of, but all of a sudden he said we should try Silantro, nun una napipikon ako, kasi when I have something in mind nag crave talaga ako and I look forward to eating that food that I'm thinking of, then Suddenly iba na, or maybe all girls are like that? Anyway, I absolutely loved it! It was Amazing and sobrang sulit!!

I've eaten at Silantro a couple times na, the other day nag yaya mom ni Charles to have Mexican food, so we all agreed to go to Silantro. I was worried because the past few times the lines would go all the way down the street and there would be a waiting list, but we got there around 2:30 and there was no line, though it was full inside so we were seated outside which was fine naman with me. So, the waiter handed me a menu and this is were true happiness begins hahahaha

Here's a look at their affordable Menu

All alcoholic drinks were removed from the menu, I guess to lessen disturbances to nieghbors dahil residencial area naman sha talaga, but who needs alcohol when the food is soo good!
Sooooo, First and highly recommend the Beef Nachos! A super yummy appetizer best nachos I have ever had! At 160 pesos!
Then I order what I always order the soft completo taco!! I think its 110 pesos now, on this Menu aboue it says 100 lang pero its worth the P100.
The sauces, spicy, sour cream, avocado sauce.. Well thats what I think it is hahaha

        Skewers, super soft and tender!

And finale the pork ribs!! That were equally tender and juicy as the skewers!

We got all this for the affordable amount of 1010 pesos only! Meron panorder separate and mom ni Charles and Charles. All the pics here are for us to share. Im definately going back, what about you, are you gonna try them anytime soon? Im telling you, you should! You wont regret it!

Tokyo Posh by Denise Aquino

I've tried every kind of hair extension out there. I've tried hair clip-ons, wigs, and even extensions that used metal, and rubber for the extensions to be attached, even glued! Basta, I've tried almost every kind and only one that was convenient and quick, was Tokyo Posh.
I first heard about Tokyo Posh for no other then the Queen Ms. Kris Aquino, I guested on her show and she said "are you wearing extensions" kasi you can see the rubber beads that were used to attach the extensions from afar (looks like i had little friends in my hair) haha Then she said come here, and motioned that I touch here hair. I was so scared to touch her hair my gosh! hehehe but I did anyways, I had no idea she was wearing permanent hair extensions! They weren't bulky and were seamless! She then went on and told me where to get them and said that it was totally worth it, and soo this is where my addiction begins!

The first time I went, I was really lucky! The owner was there to explain everything to me. Her name is Denise Aquino and she is young, kikay, and beautiful! I couldn't believe she was the owner! Just a little bit older than me and super successful na, plus she was super kikay too, so I felt like, Wow, this is a place where I can have fun, chumika and get beautified all in one hahah, plus I have a new friend here to! She explained all the different options I could chose from. They have half wigs, long and short, bangs, instant ponytails, an instant bun (that Ms. World Megan Young wore when she won) and the permanent extensions which were my personal favorites!

This is The owner Denise Aquino where clip on Bangs!

They have the extensions in Ombre, as seem above, and in All colors that would match each and everyones hair type. Available in Straight or in Wavy, in different lengths as well.

This is 2015 Ms. Philippines Earth Air Chanel Olive Thomas, The new Main girl of Tokyo Posh.

The newest addition to my collection is the Audrey Bun! When your lazy to fix your hair just put on your audrey bun and you have an up styled do in just 5 seconds! Im in love!

Here the straight-wrap for those girls that want to achieve the long pony tail but is stuck in that short hair awkward stage.

One of the best sellers, BLAIR! Instant volume and curls! perfect for parties and wedding and just a clip on and clip off!

This is me when I first got the Ombre permanent extensions when they where still new at Tokyo Posh i added another pack to give more volume after this.

This is ombre Straight! Yes I got a new set but straight this time hahaha (told you im addicted to this!)

Then back to wavy again! Wavy is my personal favorite!

Usually my hair extensions last around a month to 2 months before I need to get them reattached and it take only 30 minutes, yes! 30 mins! ahahhaa when I had my old hair extensions, they used metal clips and were attached with pliers, ouch right? It lasted 6 hours to attach the old set and I would lose alot of hair dahil it would break my hair huhuh but with Tokyo Posh, 30 mins and your ready to go, ouchless and quick!

You can visit Tokyo posh at SM Fashion Mall 5th floor and Rockwell 2nd floor.

This was me when Tokyo posh was still new! Now they are newly renovated and I love the new look! I could just stay all day and try on all the half wig. Its just a fun place to be! an anti-stress for me!

Im so lucky to have been part of the Tokyo Posh Family and have been one of the mane girls. Tokyo Posh is perfect for girl who can't commit or that are lazy like me and don't have time to fix their hair, or dont want go through the hassle of cutting your hair short or waiting for it to grow back. This is our simple answer, a damage free instant 'do that you can do yourself in less than 2 minutes! Tokyo Posh is definitely the "new generations" girls best friend!!!

Not so Diva Divi moments :)

First, let me say  ANG SAYA! If you have been an avid follower of mine you might notice my interest and fascination in bazaars and in helping online sellers. Why? Because i simply enjoy it, at dahil jan here I go! Hello DIVISORIA! haha Well the travel going there wasn't a fun experience i tool us 3 hours, traffic was really really bad, halos di na kami gumagalaw. I think last time i went to divi was like in 2007 maybe? Pag on-call ako sa taping namin ng Pedro Penduko which malapit lng set namin sa 168 kaya ang saya! This time we went to Divi to check the toys!

We got there around lunch time and parked at Starbucks doon sa may circle, the we walked, medyo malayo to a building which was full of toys! Super duper afforadable un toys and so much fun to look at, great deals on wholesale items lalo na for parties and for prizes. I went to check on stuff I might be able to use sa party ni Kiera.

The only disguise I had was a hat and it worked pretty well! I wasn't recognised for the next 5 hours, thats was awesome hahaha Yun lang sobra daming tao para na kaming mga langgam na nag sisiksikan doon, I guess dahil mag papasko naeveryone is shopping, but maybe its better to go pag hindi Christmas season? haha

We ended up fulling a tricycle full of stuff, I got kiera a play kitchen and other things. Ito ang tunay na definition ng "walang basagan ng trip' hahahaha I really wanna go back soon but most likey next year na.

The needed tricycle selfie!! i haven't been on one since i think i was 19, I really love doing thing like this, it feels so liberating and its an adventure, its also nice being just like everyone else, and having no arte, and just experience things as they are. I think Divisoria is my new favorite place!! Cant be a diva in Divisoria!

Banila Co. Launch

First of all I must say, it is the prettiest event i have attended!! They had over sized pink balloons hanging from the ceilings with black ribbons hanging from them and had such girly ambiance. It was the Banila Co. official launch in the Philippines! For those who dont know Banila Co. is a multi-awarded Korean cosmetic brand famous for their base cosmetic makeup line, they aim to achieve that glow! We all know how poreless and super kinis Koreans are, and they seem to have that pearly skin glow all all wish to achive, so here it is girls!!

I love makeup just because I like buying them but these are worth every peso! The eyeliner wont even smudge! I wish i could take them all home!

Heres the lip tints that wont dry your lips! all in my favorite colors!

A korean Chief Makeup Artist was there a did demos on how to use the products, we had awesome tips on how to get that no makeup look with a glow!

This primer is a product i highly recommend!!

I will get my hand on this moisturizer as soon as I can! I NEED this! Im obsessed with this! I Tried the demo and i automatically felt the different on my hand what more if I used it on my face, it leaves an instant pearly glow that I always wondered how to achieve! I WANT this now! hahaa I will be visiting Glorietta 4 very soon i think, wont be able to sleep properly until I get my hands on this!

The CC cushion! Work wonders! I need this to.. well i need and want them all ahahhaha Santa I have been good this year!

MORE MAKEUP MORE FUN! I always wondered why korean makeup is the best makeup! I guess we will never know the answer, but it is absolute love for our skin!

Mommy Mel Must Haves

Hi!! So i decided to make a list of My Mommy Must haves since i had and this have a hard time figuring out what are the right items to buy for Kiera. There's so many to choose from that I just cant figure out what brand i should buy or what products are safe for baby, so I'd like to share with all of you some items that helped me alot and helped Kiera alot too.. Here we go!

1. Indigo Home spray (Shoo fly don't bother me)- Lately sad to say i discovered that Kiera is allergic to bug bites, something bit her and namaga sha ng sobra and even ended up having a blister. Kiera's tita, thats is a pedia suggested this product. Itas a water-based synergy of Eucalyptus, Lavander, Rosemary essential oils, and Citronella thats are safe for kids. Its specially formulated for home that have infants and toddlers, and is safe for everyday use. This item is great and has helped me not worry to much about those pesky bugs that wanna bite my Little Mam, bug and pest free!! you can check them out at @indigobabyshop on instagram..  this retails around 999 pesos. Got mine at Robinsons Magnolia. (bought by Lola) hahha do get a spray bottle to, this only comes in a 1 litter plastic jug.
2. Nature to Nature (multi purpose cleaner)- Aside from it works wonders this smells absolutely wonderful! It safe for babies, biodegradable, had non-toxic and plant based ingredients. It has green tea that deters insects as well and great for killing germs. You can used it on anything and everything, from cleaning toys, to high chairs, glass, furniture and more. I personally use it for cleaning her paymats and walls. I will be keeping this product in my cabinets for a long time! Must have to keep baby away from nasty germs and alikabok! Check @Naturetonatureph its 549 pesos for 1 liter.

3.  Smart Steps Anti Mosquito Patches- These Citronella patches work great when were out and about, just stick one on the back of their shirt and you goos for the next 2 hours. I personally put one on the back of Kiera's neckline where she cant reach it saka dahil praning ako I put another on sa likod ng shorts niya. These come in packages of 12 patches 95 pesos. Available at Malls near you. Or visit their Instagram page @mommysmartsteps or mommysmartsteps.com
4.  Cradle Toy and Surface cleaner- Okay you might say, "oh eh may multi-purpose cleaner na ah." yes but i like to keep my thing seperate! hahaha i keep this in Kieras room so while shes playing I'm cleaning her other stuff. This also come sin a spray bottle thats why I like it, spray wipe and your done! Its alcohol free, soap free and is non toxic as well. Its also wonderful for teddy bears and plush toys just spray onto the stuffed animal and dry! i think i got this at a Baby Bazaar for 299!! Sulit! Learn more about them on their IG page @cyclesbaby_ph, cradlenatural_ph, or @cyclessensitive
5. Tiny Buds Liquid Laundry wash- I've actually been using this product long before they became one of my sponsors and love baby Kiera so much, this is what I use to wash her clothes. They also have this in powder for and also have fabric softeners. It has no harsh chemicals and smell refreshing! Great for sensitive skin and sulit for a medium load only 3-5tbsp! It lasts! i think this is 240 pesos if im not mistaken. Oh diba! Visit their IG @tinybudsbaby or +TINY BUDS | Natural Baby Products
6. Gripe Water-  My magic!!! when Kiera was small she would cry for no reason at all for hourss, un pala kabag na, I was adviced by a pedia na wag mag mazanilla kasi nakakaburn daw ng baby skin sa katagalan, this item is a herbal item, and certified organic so no worries, bibigyan mo lang sila konti nito in a dropper (5ml) and it effectively helps ease discomfort from kabag, teething and hiccups! For me instant result, its saved me alot of times already! hahha also good for adults. No alcohol, or parabens, gluten, dairy. or soy artificial ingredients. I got this from mom my sa US, but meron sa healthy option its aroung 895 pesos ata. For this brand chack www.wellementsbaby.com

7. Desitin- Needs no intro hahaha mom have been using this since forever! its good for rashed specailly caused by diaper rashes or heat. My mom sent me this from the US not sure where to get it here but im sure meron, its also fragrance free!

Mustela Vitamins barrier Cream- Another favorite baby brand is Mustela, this one works the same, it prevents, soothes and recorvers rashed, great for every diaper change!

8. Cetaphil baby Massage Oil with shea butter- Yep! they have a new baby line! Though the normal cetaphil is good too, i tried this even on my skin and i loved it! Its hypoallergenic and contains vitamin E. Can be used daily after baths to retain moisture and help protect skin fro dryness.

That ends my Must Haves list for this week, these are some product that worked well for me, but please do ask you pedia before using any of these, since lahat ng babies ay iba, we need to find what works well with our little ones.. hope I helped! Till next time!!
